Great Academies Education Trust are part of the FA1 Ambition Institute NW Hub.

This is a collaborative partnership including a number of schools and MATs across the North West region.

The collaborative delivers Ambition Institute’s Early Career Teacher programme and suite of National Professional Qualifications.

Through this partnership colleagues in our schools have access to:

The Early Career FrameworkThe Early Career Framework provides an entitlement to two years of evidence-based professional development for teachers at the start of their career. Through the framework, early career teachers are entitled to additional support and training, including one-to-one mentoring from an experienced colleague.
ECF Mentor TrainingMentors are offered support and guidance on how to get the most from their role and how best to develop their early career teachers. Training, resources and ongoing support are provided.
NPQ QualificationsA range of nationally recognised leadership qualifications. Carefully sequenced professional development programmes are designed to support teachers to deepen their knowledge and refine their practice as teachers and leaders across a number of specialist areas.
Visiting Fellow ProgrammeLeaders are able to use their expertise to contribute the training and support of others through the Visiting Fellow programme. Training in facilitation, resources and ongoing support are provided.

FA1 NW Hub

The FA1 and Ambition North West Hub is a collaborative partnership led by Forward As One CE Multi Academy Trust, including partner MATs and schools across the North West region. We are working in close partnership with FA1 and Ambition Institute, for the purpose of delivering Ambition Institute’s Early Career Teacher programme and suite of National Professional Qualifications. We see it as our civic duty to deliver the highest standards of training and professional development, so our Educators and Leaders across the North West can flourish and reach their true potential.
